EPAL was incorporated on 6th June 2001 and commenced trading on 20th February 2002.

The principal activity of the company is to provide pensions administration services in relation to the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (ESPS) and other pension schemes of the Employers participating in the ESPS.

The ordinary shares of EPAL are owned by Electricity Pensions Services Limited (EPSL). EPSL is in turn owned by Electricity Pensions Limited (EPL), the members of which are all major employers in the ESPS. Therefore, EPAL is a wholly owned subsidiary of EPL.

EPAL's strength in providing a seamless pensions administration service means that we can add that personal touch to everything we do - whether responding to a concerned pensioner or providing you with additional services.

We foster a close working relationship with all our customers and provide quarterly reports that monitor our service level targets.

Our core services cover many ad hoc circumstances which may not be included as standard by some third party pension administration services. Every year one of our senior management team will attend a meeting with your Trustees at no extra cost.
